SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The service level created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all consumers and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
