SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed about the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The services point produced for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out here programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to help the sassa servicing of all buyers and improve use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
